Privacy

Your details, looked after.

This page explains what Utilo AI collects when you use our website, ask for an audit through Facebook or Instagram, or book a free AI audit, and what we do with it. Plain English, no fine print.

What we collect

When you book a free AI audit, the form asks for your name, business name, email, phone (optional), industry and the tools you use or pay for. That’s all.

When you ask for an audit through a form on Facebook or Instagram, Meta passes us the details you submit: your name, phone, email and business name, plus your answers about your business (such as its type, how many staff you have and which bill you’d most like to cut). Meta’s own privacy policy covers what Meta itself collects when you use its apps.

When you visit the website, we count page views and note where visits come from (for example a Facebook ad, Google or another website). We don’t use cookies and we don’t store your IP address. To count unique visitors, we create an anonymous code from your connection and browser that changes every day, so it can’t be used to follow you over time.

How we use it

We use your details to contact you, set up your audit and follow up on it. That’s it.

We don’t sell your information, we don’t share it for anyone else’s marketing, and we won’t add you to a mailing list without asking.

Visit counts help us see which ads and pages are working. They don’t identify you.

Where it's kept

Form entries and visit counts are stored in our database with Supabase, hosted in Sydney, Australia. The website runs on Vercel. When we book a meeting with you, your email goes into the Google Calendar invite we send.

We get a notification on our phone when a new audit request comes in. It shows only your first name and business name.

We also get an email about each new request in our business Gmail account (Google), with the details you gave us, so we can call you back quickly.

How long we keep it

We keep your details while we’re talking with you or working together, and for a reasonable time afterwards in case you come back to us. You can ask us to delete them at any time.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Email utiloai@gmail.com and we’ll sort it out.

If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled your information, tell us first. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
